Open to children of all abilities from age 5-9.
Martial Arts mixed in a fun and motivating way with exercise, games and fitness skills, all in one energetic and enjoyable session!
The KFA kids MMA Program consists of a mix of Martial Arts such as Boxing, Kickboxing, Wrestling, Judo and Jiu-Jitsu.
The class begins with a fun warm up to get everyone on their feet with games that incorporate technical skills and improve co-ordination, speed and agility.
Typically, the class then rotates in smaller groups through different stations that work on each of the disciplines such as Boxing or Muay Thai pad work, bag drills, Jiu-Jitsu, take downs and ground work.
The children are then encouraged to demonstrate their newly acquired skills on their opponents in a friendly and safe manner with an emphasis on team work and helping each other to learn and progress.
The more experienced students are able to practice their skills in a controlled competition style environment under the supervision of our highly trained and qualified team of instructors.
Our objective is to enhance development in a positive and motivating way, helping each individual child enter into society with a more confident and enthusiastic outlook – focused to achieve any goal he or she sets in life. Martial Arts are much more than just kicking and punching. They’re about working to become the best you can be in everything you do…
